Altius was established in 2016 by Doug Jones, a physiotherapist with more than 17 years working for Sale Sharks, London Wasps, England rugby and in private practice.

The inspiration behind Altius came when Doug was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and the experience and support that he received on his road to recovery following surgery. At Altius we have one have one key aim: to provide every person we treat with the same high level of care that an elite athlete enjoys, helping them to achieve their goals, to live and work better, climb higher and achieve more. We believe that physical and mental health are intrinsically linked, and that your general wellness is key to a high quality of life. Therefore, our team is committed to the general fitness and wellbeing of all.
