The Role

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you’ll work closely with senior accountants and managers to deliver high-quality service to a varied portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and start-ups.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Drafting management accounts and assisting with forecasting
• Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping tasks
• Supporting clients with cloud software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
• Liaising directly with clients - you’ll be given real responsibility from day one

You’ll also be encouraged to get involved in advisory work and projects that go beyond compliance, helping clients to grow and achieve their goals.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least two years’ experience in an accountancy practice
• Is AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (study support provided)
• Enjoys client interaction and working collaboratively within a team
• Is confident using cloud accounting systems and eager to learn new technology
